Review of the ride from Hoylake to Parkgate 14/5/26

At the last minute we had to change the bike ride from the Manifold Valley to the Wirral coast due to the inclement weather conditions in the Peak District. We had a beutiful sunny day and cycled along the Wirral Way to the 'lost village' of Parkgate. This little village was a thriving fishing town until the River Dee silted up. The beach is now a huge marshland with abundant bird life. Parkgate also offers cafes, restuarants and wonderful home made ice-cream, well worth the effort!

NEXT BIKE RIDE:

Wednesday 10/6/26
Thursday 16/7/26
